cheers Ady, worked really hard for that win in the 1st race but defo struggled on a few of the berms. Normally ok but that one where u were standing was causing me problems, probably cos u were there watching haha Yeah I saw you were giving it your all, but it paid off in that race. That start is a nightmare, its so unfair if you dont get a good pick. I had a little run in with another vet in my second race on the line, Russ Jarman, typically us old gits stick to our guns and he wanted the rut right by me but there wasnt room... As I wasnt going to be on the pace for more than 2 laps I moved over, wish I hadnt now as I had the worst start of the day. When it happened again in the third race I wasnt moving and poor Mr Blanchard decided it wasnt a good idea t start that close to me and moved.

- Well I have to say I wasnt looking forward to this event, number of reasons but mainly lack of bike time meaning I am totally unable to hold on for more than 2 laps, as proven in my first race when I reached for a tear-off and couldnt control the bike ending up with a soil sample and a broken clutch lever....
Had a really good start despite having a supermoto tyre on the back and for the first 2 laps felt like my old self staying inside the top 5 untill I bailed.
Second race Holeshot, red flagged... ffs
Re-start, didnt quite get the start I wanted and locked up stalling in turn one, so that was that really.
Third race and I thought i needed a confidence boost, gated second and stayed quite well up for about 4 laps then decieded to back off as I was struggling to hang on again...
All in all an enjoyable day on a proper track (despite the rocks) and felt I did better than I thought I would off so i'll sleep well tonight...
How was your day?
Pics will be up tomorrow night, leave your name,# bike and kit to make it easier for me to find your shots.. Hi Ady any pics of me #94 rmz450 with yellow UFO kit, i didnt have the best of days being taken out twice off the start in the heat race and then coming from dead last just to miss out on A group, i just could not get out the gate stalling in 1st and 3rd race ( must get booked into a holeshot day with you ) ;-) 1st time at the track and 2nd UMX meeting, enjoyed the day just bummed from my starts, something to work on, Cheers Ady Jamie
