Wrangway 1985-Results warning!

I wasn't entered ,not sure why as I normally rode at Wrangway , must have been on my hols or injured .

I was entered but can't see what number, hang on I have a photo, think I am being lapped by Antony Holden.

Or Darren Sealy ?

That5s Darren I had quite a few battles with him on his Fowler Yam, no idea what happened to him!

He went through the juniors like a dose and gave it to the experts. I don't where he went either.

The centre had a good level in it, my ol man made me sandbag the first 6 months to give me time to get used to adult racing but I went up after the first year. I musta been a bit older than Darren cos I was already expert at this meeting.

Bloody hell he had a double!!!! Your right. Rog was a hard rider along with KNox and Steel all British championship riders and not guys you messed with I remember passing Rog going into a downhill, outbraked him, was well chuffed, aparently the commentator thought I was gunna take us both out, tut I dont ride like that

Rog was my travelling buddy, we worked together and kept our bikes together. Without him I would not have servived 1985.
To out brake Rog is something because he excelled on braking but then the Maico didn't. You must have enjoyed that move to remember it !?

I held Rog in high esteam.... he was a very gritty rider and it took me a good few seasons to be able to beat him.... think the first time I did was at Whitings Water... he normally got the better of me in my early ex[ert years tho..

You guys were motoring back then. I remember Derek Roberts won the support champs and then came down to the south west and had to work hard to win.
