My first ever attendance at a Masters was somewhat jaded by the 4 hour delay they had on the Saturday with a timing malfunction, so in true AMCA stylee they sent someone on a 4 hr trip to get a replacement part instead of getting lapscorers in!!! Still just being at the infamous valley circuit made things worthwhile esp as I was camping and had a supply of cider to keep me happy, but for a certain female tog taking a liking to it!!! Saturday turned out to be a preety bleak affair with only one block of racing but plenty of fun jocolor

thanks to Miss Whiting, Barrie Ward, Chris Topher Frankcom Chris White and Mel Long... SUnday was when the real racing started with some excellent pro races. Elliot Banks Browne again proving to be top dog in MX2 but being pushed hard by Bry Mac doing the new uphill tripple which 'made' EBB do it. Shout out to Luke Blanchard who althought further down the order had the balls to clear it while it was mostly only the top pros clearing it, fair play Luke affraid

Mx1 was a tight 4 way battle with a very close outcome, Ando pipped Whatley and Sword with EBB doing both classes and getting in the fray.... Sword took race 1 from Whatley and Ando but race 2 it was Ando all the way with Whatley chasing hard again in second waiting for his oppertunity, Sword meanwhile was closing but had to dispose of EBB before he could launch his assault on the overall, it looked like it could go to any one of those 3. Whatley got closer to Ando, Ando responded, Sword past EBB but he wasnt letting up and forced Sword into an error on the final lap putting him back to 4th. Whatley had left it to late to make his move and Ando took the victory and overall by 1 point from Whatley. Well worth watching and the new triple looked thrilling.
