PONTRILAS - 4TH TRACKDAY/PHOTOSHOOT

Huge thanks to the team, Sophie, Chris, Haggis, Nick, Olly, Shaun and new snapper Chrissy for coming once again to snap a great day. All the riders for coming, hope you all had a good time riding what looked to be a real fun track, Pippa and her team for putting on a great day and putting in loads of effort getting the track watered and prepped. Nice one Haggis, keep em coming matey... heres the start of mine...

Glourious weather always follows the ios1 trackday/photoshoots, this was what greeted me as I drove in Saturday afternoon with 2 other forum members...

A walk of the track taking in the breathtaking views...

Track flows through 3 seperate fields, middle field behind these trees and the next field after that houses the start

Above photos show the pre-watered track, watering carried on till dusk Saturday night then more put down at lunchtime on the shoot day, but even that couldnt hold back all of the dust, but the sprinkler system helped a lot.

Still the dusty berms made for some great shots...

Roberts Plant flag flies in the background on top of the hill, Roberts Plant are responsible for the beach race course at Weston this year so look out for them down there.

This little Red Bull pilot had a close call over the downhill tabletop, but saved it and got faster all day...

Despite having a bike older than half the riders vet rider Paul Schmidt still posted some quick lap times

Mandy Wheelan opted for the smaller 85cc machine in preference to her 125 after viewing the track and saying 'Sh*t im gunna kill myself'

Tommy Alba chose the 2 stroke to play on but came a perler half way through the day, hope he's ok, he did walk away but loked a little battered.
